While it is doing that, can you copy and paste the entire development console log? Thanks! The game NOT launching became a big problem ever since I updated the game to Version 1.7.4, while the UPDATING problem only became it's worst since 1.7.4, updating every time I click 'PLAY'. The game simply won't launch after the continuous updates! I do NOT get any errors, and NOTHING crashes, I get no indications of these. I have the latest Java version on my PC but not my MAC as I do not have OS X Lion. With both, I have had hardly any problems playing Minecraft other than the 'UPDATE' problem sometimes. I use Windows 7 on my custom made PC, and I also use Mac OS X ver: 10.6.8(my Laptop). I cannot click the play button again either, unless I close the launcher and get back into it, but it just repeats itself. After the game has finished updating(even though it's been updated to the latest version 6 times already!) the game won't launch at all. Someone please, help me with this irritating problemĮvery time I open the Minecraft launcher and click 'PLAY', the download bar appears and updates the game, and I need to know how to stop that.
