She is survived by son and daughter-in-law David and Traci Vining of Augusta daughter and son-in-law Nancy and James Jones of Hephzibah daughter and son-in-law Vera and Charlie Anderson of Washington, GA son James Wiggins of Tyler, TX sister Frankie E.
She was preceded in death by husband John Wayne Vining and three sons Chuck, Jon and Dan.

The family is inviting all who loved John to join them for a celebration of life service Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Theresa Butcher (nee: Lukesic). Butcher of Harrietsville, Ohio and his sister Dawn (Ralph) McNerney of Richfield, Ohio. Survivors include his wife of over twenty years Deanna Carter (nee: Brooks) his son John Douglas Joseph Carter (Irma) of Lorain his daughter Cindy Carter of Elyria his step sons Neil Tait and Troy (Wendy) Tait both of Lorain many grandchildren and great grandchildren his brother Clark L. He loved giving, hosting and caring for others. Jack owned and operated Mangines Cafe for over forty years. and the Merchant Marines on the Great Lakes aboard the Columbia Middle Town. He proudly served in the United States Marines Corp. Jack was a lifetime resident of Lorain, graduating from Lorain High School with the class of 1957. He was born June 23, 1939, in Lorain, Ohio. John "Jack" William Carter, 78 years of age, and a resident of Lorain, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Emergency Room, following a sudden illness.
